Warren, you aren't being a nice guy because you are doing this at all. We are so against you because the last time you did this, you destroyed the old forum. I'd happily punch you just for that, and now you're doing it again. For what? More foot traffic on your own website? It makes me sick when people destroy things just for fame. I know from experience, I am well versed as a forumer, and roleplayer, and NOBODY follows the links to what is copyright whom. We may as well not do it because nobody else cares. No one else cares who owns Daft Freak, so why should we care? Also, things are usually copyright to COMPANIES, not to single people, unless they're in a novel. Daft Freak was created by all of Daft TV, and I've gotten permission from the head of Daft TV, meaning I've taken this clean over your jurisdiction, AND we've got permission from every other member of Daft TV other than you, meaning we have strength in numbers. Finally, we're the only ones who come on here, and none of us care who's copyrighted Daft Freak, since he's a regular part of our lives. We have that Daft Freak up there (which looks nothing like the original clip art, I might add) in our classroom, we have a drawing where Charlie's balancing him on his head, we used to have another where Charlie was balancing him on his finger. To us, it would be like claiming copyright of trees, or sunshine, it belongs to everyone, you can't just claim it is yours and yours alone.
Warren, you are losing this fight. Give it up, before you become a supervillain.
