Desire: Very well. Gwen, Ash, Shad. We have a problem on our hands. My brother Ravs_Passion has been surrounded by Intellect's pirates. We need to save him!
gwen: okay *shakes hand* saladar, please let go.
saladar: *lets go* [indignant woof]
gwen: *picks up what looks like a stick* *sees the scythe blade* oh, that could be useful. *comes to help*
Ash(temporarily deafened): *reallises he is deaf* i cant hear what your saying but im going to come with you anyway.
Masao: Ash, take this medicine; this should cure your hearing.
Desire: Come on guys, let's go help Passion.
Masao: We can't fall behind....Hold on, who's that?
A mysterious boat arrives at the shore. A woman approaches the group.
Woman: Excuse me, could any of you help me please?
Masao: Of course my lady. How may we be of assistance?
Woman: Masao? Masao Natake?
Masao: How do you know my name? Who are you anyway?
Woman: You don't remember me? Oh dear.....

*Desire realises who the woman is*
Desire: Mother! What are you doing here?
Ravishing: Ah, Desire! It's been a while...
Desire: Please, now is not the time to be here....please go back to Raviland at once!
Ravishing: You do not tell your mother what she can and cannot do! Anyway, Masao, we have a lot to discuss....
Masao: Of course your highness!
Ash: *takes medicine* ugh tastes horrible but i can hear again
Desire: Why is Mother here? What is her purpose?
Intellect: There they are! Capture them all, but make sure you bring Desire to me, alive!
Pirate: Move out! Capture the enemies of our lord Intellect!
Desire: This isn't good....we must do something....Hey let go of me now! Gwen! Ash! Shad! Run now!!!!!!!!!
Desire is taken prisoner is transported onto the pirate ship. Shortly afterwards, Gwen, Ash and Shad are captured as well.
They are all inside a darkened prison cell awaiting their fates....
Desire: I hope Mother and Masao are alright....I don't know what would happen to Raviland without them.....
gwen: raviland? what's--
(deep male voice, a bit gravelly): are you all in chains, or ropes? *too dark to see who spoke*
gwen: i'm in ropes. i'm not sure about everyone else. *seems to know the voice*
[sound of something moving, and small clacking sounds] [sound of ropes snapping]
gwen: thanks--
unknown voice: no time for that, no time for that. *addressing everyone else* are you in ropes or-- oh nevermind. [clacking sounds going round all the prisoners] *all ropes snap (or are they ripped?)*

gwen: i'm here.
voice: quiet. i smell someone. doesn't smell very far away. has a lantern with him, at least, it smells like a lantern. i'll take care of him when he comes...

ash walks around, trips over something and ends up in a barrel
Desire: Hold on, what's that sound? It's like a ringing sound....

A glowing ring appears in the middle of the room.

Mysterious Person: No......
Desire: Huh? Who's that?
Mysterious Person: Ring.....dangerous.....wary......

Desire: Stop speaking this instant!

Unknown Voice: Hang on, I hear voices in the prison cell. Seize Desire at once.
Desire: Oh great.......Now I meet Intellect again.......
gwen: *in background, trying to help ash out the barrel* *murmuring to herself* where have i heard that... tai, jie, zhou... i know i've heard it...
saladar: *in same gravelly voice* don't worry, this one's mine *bounds up the stairs*
pirate: [screams, sound of struggling, splash]
Ash: ahhh stupid barrel
gwen: ah, i'll help *gets shad out his barrell* *stands for a minute, thinking* *while holding both the barrells*
saladar: *comes back down the stairs* *looks shocked, then worried, then turns at the mysterious voice* [growl]
