Excerpt from "The Breeders Guide To Dragons."
The gestation period of dragons is a varying affair. Noone is quite sure how long it takes, as extensive study has never been carried out on dragon eggs. While there exist breeds, like the strawapple dragon, that hatch at a set time, it is not known when the eggs are laid.
SQUEE!!! i will kill you all later!!! lol

That, it would seem, is a blueberry dragon egg.
Excerpt from "The Breeder's Guide To Dragons"
The blueberry dragon is known for laying it's eggs in large fields of blueberries. It is unknown whether the presence of the eggs is what causes the blueberries to grow so plentifully, or if the dragons are attracted to such places, for some reason. These dragons only lay their eggs in the months of october and november, but return to the eggs for the whole of the gestation period, making the collection of bluaberries from such fields a dangerous, and suicidal, affair as the mothers are highly protective of their eggs and young.
SQUEE!!! i will kill you all later!!! lol
Look who hatched!
excerpt from "Breeder's Guide To Dragons"
The young of the red dragons are a strange lot, they imprint on their owners very quickly, following them around like ducklings. They are some of the easiest dragons to train if you catch them young enough, and they imprint on you. Their ability to breath fire does not come in until adolesence, when their flame glands, right above their fangs, become fully developed. These dragons hatch with little to no warning to the untrained eye, but even an expert would be unable to tell it was gong to hatch more than a day ahead of the hatch.
