Let me check... The last one hatched in 1959, in the tenth or eleventh month, but records do not exist of the exact date.

Strawapple Dragon

excerpt from "Breeders Guide to Dragons"

The young of the strawapple dragon, even though they are born only every fifty years, are almost never born parentless, thanks to their incredible life expectancy. These dragons are also known to fall asleep within their eggs, but it is unknown how often this happens. These dragons are easy to train when caught at the right time, but the window of opportunity is shorter than say, the red dragon. These dragons learn their mother's scent within weeks of their eggs being laid, so if you want the strawapple dragon to imprint on you, you may want it's mother to have imprinted on you, or else you'll never have a chance. Their mothers are possibly the most protective mothers in all the species of dragon, and are known to be submissive only to king Daft Freak, as if in gratitude to his protection of themselves and their young.
